Ranks

Initiate - Sentry, The lowest elf rank, anyone should be able to quickly addvance to the next one for forming deeds and showing loyalty.
Regular - Watcher, Regular "Soldiers" Of the guild. Next rank can be obtained by the same ways as Watcher,and beeing active and nice in general ooc.
Elite - Warden, Highest non-officer rank, The Sentinels that where active and in TDS when it disbanded gain this rank automaticly. Can be obtined by non-elfs.
Officer - marshal, Kinda self explanitory.
G. Leader - Inquisitor


Mercs ( Non-elfs ):
Initiate - Auxiliary , The lowest non-elf rank, same as Sentry.
Regular - Mercenary, Same as watcher.
Officer - Captain, Works as a regular officer, has control over the mercs.

I certainly understand the need for wannabe elves to have a "cool" rank aswell but this doesn't seem right.

Yes, we still need one more rank , thou it is huge trouble to add it to the current ones, damn you blizzard. And the gaining has to be figured out by the people who want it.

i did like to know how to earn ranks too^^

Ranks aren't that important, just stay loyal, don't question, follow your superiors orders! And most importantly, smile!

i was wondering... shoulden't each of the ranks get some more authority? i mean... currently the only difference on the initate and the member rank is really the name... and i don't really see the officers getting any special threatment (apart from Árín becaurse she's a bitch ICwise if she doesn't get her will^^)

I like the ranks so far. I also think that humans and other non-elves shouldn't be allowed to progress as much as elves We're talking Wardens here, after all.
On about how you should "make em real".. Well mostly through some rp events, in my opinion. In my previous guild (on Argent Dawn) officers were IC quite the bastards.
